Our chitosans starting raw materials are from shrimp shells. The raw materials are processed via clean-tech processes. We provide standard inventoried high – quality chitosans, speciality chitosans, and customized chitosan products. This makes available a wide array of chitosans such as high deacetylation (DDA%), high to low molecular weight chitosans, chitosan derivatives, etc.

Indo Nautilus Pharma (INP) is a specialized chitosan supplier born out of Delta Marine Indonesia (DMI). Whereas, Indo Nautilus Pharma(INP) developed a clean-tech chitosan manufacturing technology using an enzymatic process.

With this technology, the crustacean shells are demineralized and deproteinized with a proprietary enzyme formulation which requires the use of less harsh chemicals compare to other method. Crustacean shells are deproteinization resulting in chitin. The chitin is then deaceylated using enzymes to form chitosan. The process results is a significant reduction in environmental impact when compared to other chitosan manufacturing processes, since so much less harsh chemicals are used; the effluent from the process is near chemical-free.

Indo Nautilus Pharma(INP) chitosan products are targeted towards mid-grade and high-grade application areas. Mid- grade applications include cosmetics and toiletries; nutraceuticals and dietary supplementsl food and beverages; animal feed additives; as well as agriculture. Beyond these mid – grade uses, the company is mostly focused on the development of low-volume, high-quality chitosan for high – grade applications, especially for biomedical applications in terms of medical-grade and pharmaceutical-grade chitosans.
